Skipper still confident tide will turn for Town
Town captain, Luke Chambers insists the Club must remain positive despite Blues falling to a 2-1 defeat against West Brom at Portman Road.
Kayden Jackson’s late effort proved to be a consolation for Paul Lambert's side after Jay Rodriguez netted for the Baggies in the first half and Harvey Barnes finished off a swift counter-attack for the away side 13 minutes from time.
“We’re a little bit disappointed with our performance from the first half but the frustration comes from the fact that we didn’t score when we were on top after the restart," the Blues centre-half told iFollow Ipswich.
“Their second goal came against the run of play which was tough to take but their main strength is how they can hit teams on the break.
“That’s something we can learn from but one thing that is a breath of fresh air is that we’re going out to try and win games.
“The manager has instilled some belief into us and it’s important we remain positive because we have another big game on Wednesday.
“I’m confident that it won’t be too long until the tide turns.”
