Portman Road form is key going forward says Paul
Paul Lambert says an improvement in Town’s home form is essential if Blues are to start climbing the table.
Town have yet to win at Portman Road this season and last night’s defeat by Bristol City made it 12 games without a victory on home soil.
“You have to win your home games to give yourself a chance because this league is really tough.
“Whatever happened at the start of the season, happened. That’s why we’ve come in.
“Performance wise I can’t ask for anymore but what I can ask for is to do the basics right, like preventing crosses coming in and we didn’t do that well enough last night.”
