Paul to make changes for Town's trip to Forest

Paul Lambert says he will make changes to his team as Town finish off a run of three games in a week with a trip to Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

The Blues boss has played the same starting XI in each of the four games he has been in charge at Portman Road but says he will look to utilise his squad at the City Ground.

“We need to freshen it up for Saturday, through fatigue as much as anything else,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.

“A lot of the lads have not played at this level so it’s a test for them physically. We do need to change things a bit, not too many but we do need to freshen it up.

“We are a young side. Flynn [Downes] and Trevoh [Chalobah] have not had a break at all for instance because they have had international football.

“Whoever comes in though, I’m sure they will do as well as the ones that will drop out.”
