Chambo already sees the positives after Paul's arrival
Luke Chambers says the Town players already believe they will climb the table under Paul Lambert.
Town’s new boss will take charge of his team for the first time on Saturday when Preston visit Portman Road, with Blues sitting at the bottom of the table.
The skipper is confident Town will climb away from danger though and writing in his column in the matchday programme, he said: “We have already started to believe we can turn a corner. The lads are massively buying into what is being asked of us.
“We have been given clear instructions on how he wants us to play when we have possession and as players that is what you want, a clear message on what is required from us.
“He’s told us that if you give him what he asks for - and I believe we can - then he won’t have any complaints and we will win football matches and that’s a real positive for us to hear.
"The morale in the dressing-room is still good. That’s not always easy when you are bottom of the league. There is a lot of respect in there for each other. We have belief in each other and that will help us in the challenge ahead.”
