Small steps being made says Blues boss
Paul Lambert is confident that his Town side are making progress and that there is light at the end of the tunnel for the Club.
Blues sit six points adrift at the foot of the Championship, but head into Wednesday's match against Bristol City on the back of an encouraging performance against promotion-hopefuls West Brom on Friday night.
“I’m expecting a tough game tomorrow but I think we’re playing well at the moment and we will go out there and do everything we can to try and win,” Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
“We had a great atmosphere at Portman Road last time out and we played well against a strong West Brom side, despite not getting the result.
“The players gave it their all, though. They were a bit down before we arrived but one thing I can honestly say is that they’ve given me everything in training and in matches.
“The fans have been lifted too and that’s important. We’re making small steps but at least there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.”
