Town winger added for Nations League clash
Gwion Edwards has been added to the Wales international squad for their UEFA Nations League clash with Republic of Ireland on Tuesday.
The Blues wide man, who signed from Peterborough United in the summer, has impressed so far this term and has now been rewarded with a spot in Ryan Giggs' squad.
Gwion has previously turned out for the Welsh U19 and U21 sides but will be hoping to earn his first senior international cap come Tuesday.
Wales currently sit second in Group B having thrashed Martin O'Neill's Ireland 4-1 in their opening game before falling to a 2-0 defeat against Denmark.
Their two group rivals meet at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin tomorrow evening, with Wales' encounter with The Boys in Green also taking place in the Irish capital.
Kick-off on Tuesday is at 7.45pm with the game live on Sky Sports.
