'That was a team that dug in as a team and that is really pleasing' says Paul

Paul Hurst said he had a feeling of pride and relief after Town picked up a first win of the season with victory at Swansea.

Trevoh Chalobah’s header six minutes from time gave Blues a 3-2 success at the Liberty Stadium to end that 12 match winless run.

“Naturally there is relief that but I’m also really pleased for the players,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.

“They are the ones that have to go out there and perform and that was a really tough game out there.

“Swansea will give a few teams a hiding and are a good team but we created chances ourselves and I’m proud of the players for their performance and delighted for the supporters who have made the long journey.

“There were some excellent individual performances but that was a team that dug in as a team and that is really pleasing.

“It had to be a really big effort and we had some fortune but I think we have deserved that.”
