Paul hoping to build on first win and put smiles on faces of Portman Road fans

Paul Hurst is looking for Town to build on the win over Swansea and has says the next target is to put a smile on the faces of the home fans at Portman Road.

Blues host QPR tomorrow in the first of what could be seen as a key spell of games before the next international break, with a trip to Leeds on Wednesday followed by matches against Millwall, Preston and Reading.

“It’s been a long two weeks after getting that first win of the season at Swansea,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“We now have to look to build on that display and result and carry it on over the next three or four weeks before another international break.

“I have been asked if I see the next few weeks as a key period for us. I get the point of that question, with us playing some of the teams around us and obviously you can look at it that way but every game is tough in the Championship.

“A lot of our games have been tight and we have come out on the wrong side of them, hopefully the players can take some confidence from the win at Swansea and that might help us come out on the right side this time.

“We know it will be a very difficult game against QPR but the next target is to give the fans a first win at home and put a smile on the faces of the supporters at Portman Road.”

Season ticket holders can purchase additional tickets for the game against QPR for heavily discounted prices.

Each season ticket holder can purchase up to four additional tickets at: £10.00 for adults; £8.00 for seniors 65+ and U23s; £3.00 for U19s and £1.00 for U12s in the family areas.
