Paul on Boro test

Paul Hurst said he wants his Town side to embrace the challenge as Blues take on Middlesbrough at Portman Road tomorrow evening.

Boro head into the clash sitting third in the Championship table, and like Town, are unbeaten in their last three league matches.

"Without a doubt you'd expect them to be up there come the end of the season," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.

"I think at the very least they'll be well in the hunt for the Play-Offs, but with the squad and experience they have they'll be looking at an automatic spot.

"Coming down from the Premier League has allowed them to have the squad they do, but we're in the same league as them and we have to embrace the challenge.

"It will be a tough test tomorrow but we'll do our best to put on a good performance in front of the Sky cameras and in front of our fans who have been excellent this season."

"There are positives to build on from the weekend and I'm hoping the players can rise to the challenge."
