Blues winger gets involved for wheelchair football

Jordan Roberts visited an Ipswich school yesterday as part of Love Football, Live Football week.

The Town midfielder got involved in a wheelchair football session with pupils from Thomas Wolsey Orpington Academy, as well as helping with a small-sided game before a Q&A session.

"I really enjoyed my time at the school and it was great to speak to the children," Jordan told the Club website.

"It's nice to see them having fun and I'm happy that I got to spend some time with them, the teachers and the coaches and learn more about wheelchair football.

"Sometimes people don't realise all the work that goes into things like wheelchair football so I think today was a good experience for everyone."

Love Football, Live Football is a week-long celebration of grassroots football in the community. This year's event runs until Saturday, October 20, with the Club also hosting kids football on the Portman Road pitch before the QPR match.
