McLoughlin double earns point for Blues
Town's U23s drew 2-2 against QPR at Loftus Road earlier this afternoon.
Shane McLoughlin struck twice for Town as Gerard Nash's men extended their unbeaten run to eight games.
Flynn Downes, Tayo Edun, Myles Kenlock and Danny Rowe were all involved in London.
There was less than a minute on the clock when Blues went ahead - McLoughlin converting from six yards after connecting with a Jack Lankester free-kick.
But the hosts responded well and drew level on six minutes through Amrit Bansal-McNulty's side-footed finish.
All square at the break, Blues began the second half just like the first and regained the lead in the 47th minute when McLoughlin and Lankester combined again - the latter glancing in another free-kick.
Once again Town didn't have the advantage long, though. This time Bansal-McNulty turned provider as he set up Chay Tilt who made no mistake with a first-time volley.
It finished all square meaning Town are now unbeaten since a 3-2 defeat away to Sheffield United in early August.
Town's U18s, who sit top of the Professional Development League Two South table on goal difference, are in action tomorrow when they face Colchester United at Florence Park (kick-off 11am).
