More costly mistakes says Town skipper
Luke Chambers admitted Town's performance from the first to the last minute against Hull was simply not good enough.
A third minute goal from Jarrod Bowen and an 89th minute strike from Jackson Irvine secured the three points for the hosts - meaning Blues' search for a first win of the campaign goes on.
"If you concede in the first three minutes and the last five then more often than not you're going to get beaten," the Town captain told iFollow Ipswich.
"We made mistakes throughout the game as well. Yeah we had certain spells that we should have capitalised on but we need to stop making stupid errors.
"We just weren't good enough. Now we have a big two days ahead because we have to get ready for a very good Brentford team.
"The games don't get any easier so we need to stand up very quickly. We have to perform better from one to 11 and that has to start on Tuesday."
