Harrison joins casualty list with ankle ligament damage as boss considers striking options
Ellis Harrison is expected to be out of action for at least two months after sustaining ankle ligament damage in training.
The striker joins Jon Walters on the sidelines, the Burnley loanee ruled out for six months with a partial ruptured achilles.
“It’s not been confirmed yet but it looks as though he has ruptured a ligament in his ankle.
“Hopefully he won’t need surgery but he’s certainly going to be out for a while and with Jon Walters out as well, it does leave us light in options in the attacking areas in terms of the physicality those two players give us.
“It’s something we might have to look at if there is someone that fits the bill but for now we have to get on with it.”
