Boss on Bolton and injury update

Paul Hurst says he hopes his Town side take the game to Bolton when they visit Portman Road on Saturday.

Blues put in an encouraging second-half display in a 1-1 draw against Brentford on Tuesday, but still head into this weekend's clash searching for a first win of the campaign.

"Being at home we want to take the game to them and make it about us but at the same time you always have to be respectful of your opponent," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.

"They're very dangerous from set-pieces so we need to bear that in mind. Every team in this league poses a threat in their own way.

"But we have to focus on what we can do. We showed some of that on Tuesday so we need to take that into this weekend's match."

Jon Walters missed the Brentford game with an achilles injury, and Paul added that it's unlikely he'll be ready to return this weekend.

"I think we might have to make do without Jon again," he said.

"If that's the case we get on with it and it gives someone else an opportunity.

"There were a couple of knocks from the other night but I don't think it's anything that should keep anyone else out this weekend."
