Skuse injury not as bad as feared says boss

Paul Hurst has alleviated any fears over Cole Skuse after he received lengthy treatment following a head injury during the derby.

The Town medical team and paramedics attended to the midfielder for several minutes just before half-time and he was stretchered off.

“I think he has a cut, I’m not sure how bad but the main thing is that he’s okay and he was walking around the dressing-room at the end,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“Jon Walters indicated quickly that we would lose him so we knew we had to make a change.

“Skusey knows who he is, who everyone is so he looks okay and can go back to his family but obviously he will have to be monitored.”
