'I'm looking forward to the challenge of helping the team get back heading in the right direction”
Alan Judge said the fact that he is enjoying playing for Ipswich Town is the main reason he has signed a new contract.
The Republic of Ireland international penned a two year deal this morning, keeping him at the Club until the summer of 2021, with a year option on top.
“It was an easy decision,” Alan told iFollow Ipswich.
“I am not enjoying where we are in the table but I am enjoying playing for this Club.
“I felt at home here from the first day I arrived. The supporters have been great and when you think where we are in the table, the atmosphere around the place is incredible really.
“I’ve had people ask me why I would sign for a club at the bottom of the league and I’ve said ‘the most important thing for me is to enjoy my football and I’m doing that here.
“The season has not gone as well as we would have hoped but I’m here and looking forward to the challenge of helping the team get back heading in the right direction.”
