Boss wants big improvement in front of home fans against Swansea
Paul Lambert is looking for a much improved performance from his team when they face Swansea on Monday.
Blues were well beaten at Preston on Saturday in what the Town boss described as the worst display in his time at Portman Road.
“We will have to play a lot better than we did against Preston if we are to have a chance of getting anything from those games.
“The players know that wasn’t good enough at the weekend and we will want a reaction on Monday in front of the home fans.
“It’s important to put on a performance for the supporters. They deserve that. I hear the season ticket offer has been well received and it’s important we finish well and give them something to build on.
“We will change things up a bit. We will have to. Jon Nolan is back. Will Keane was on the pitch for the first time for a while [at Preston]. Collin Quaner maybe back as well. We will see.”
Ticket prices for U19s are just £1 for the game, with loads of fun activities in the FanZone from 11.30am.
The players and staff will also be doing a lap of appreciation for the supporters after the final whistle.
