KIDS AND FANS BOOST BLUES SAYS QUANER

12 April 2019

Collin | "Even though they are young they play at such a high level"

Collin Quaner says Town’s future is a positive one because of the young players coming through - and because of the Blue Army.

The Huddersfield loanee has been impressed by the quality of the homegrown players in the squad and amazed by the support the Club receives at home and away.

“I have never experienced it before, the fans being so positive when their team is where it is. That is a really good sign for the future for the Club,” the striker says in an interview in Saturday’s matchday programme.

“Every home game they have been amazing. Every away game they travel in thousands and show great support for the team.

“If I look at the fans, that is the biggest sign that the Club will be okay. It is a healthy situation that the fans are so supportive given the position of the team.

“When I look at the team, there are some really good players here. There are so many good, young players. In my opinion, even though they are young they play at such a high level.

“It’s a big shame the Club is where it is now because I don’t think it deserves to be at the bottom. Whatever happens over the rest of the season, Ipswich Town definitely has a bright future.”
