Chambo, Freddie & Tomas all attend as youngsters take to Portman Road pitch
Close to 100 youngsters took to the Portman Road pitch today as part of the Club's Junior Blues Football Festival.
The event gave children between the ages of five and 13 the chance to score on the main pitch while also taking part in coaching drills and developing their football skills.
Three two-hour sessions took place, with a current Town player attending each one to pass on tips of the trade, sign autographs and pose for photos.
Club captain Luke Chambers popped along in the morning to see how the kids were getting on, before Freddie Sears got involved with the second group.
Goalkeeper Tomas Holy completed the set, with Blues' summer arrival taking part in a penalty shoot-out before being swarmed with autograph requests.
Each child received a certificate signed by Club captain Luke Chambers and manager Paul Lambert as part of their day.
To add to this, every youngster that took part will receive a FREE match ticket to Town's game against Shrewsbury at Portman Road on Saturday, 31 August at Portman Road.
