New recruit on comfortable victory over Bolton
Kane Vincent-Young described his first appearance in a Town shirt as the 'dream debut'.
The full-back arrived from Colchester United on Monday, and made his first appearance for the Club as Blues cruised to victory with a 5-0 win over Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium.
Kayden Jackson and James Norwood both netted a brace, with Gwion Edwards also on target for Paul Lambert's side.
"It couldn't have gone any better to be honest," he told iFollow Ipswich.
"There was a lot of pressure on us to deliver and we were a bit sluggish at the start but once we got into our rhythm I thought we played really well.
"It was a strong second-half performance from the team but on a personal level I enjoyed myself too. The bonus is that we kept a clean sheet.
"Today was good and overall I'm settling in to life at the Club well. Everyone has been very welcoming and I'm already looking forward to our next match."
