Blues forward on working with Norwood

Kayden Jackson is confident that his relationship with new strike partner James Norwood, who arrived at the Club from Tranmere in June, will grow stronger as the pair become more familiar with one another.

Both forwards found themselves on the score sheet in the comeback win over AFC Wimbledon last night, with James heading Town level in the 81st minute before Kayden smashed Blues in front deep into stoppage time at Portman Road.

"The more you play with someone, the better that relationship becomes," Kayden told iFollow Ipswich.

"We linked up a few times against Wimbledon in the second half and I think going forward we'll get stronger.

"I've seen Nors and what he does. I've been able to take some advice from him on central positions because that's where strikers get their goals.

"I think we'll work well as a pair but the most important thing is that we're helping the team earn three points. Whether it's Nors, me, or anyone scoring, our main aim is to move up the table."
