"I have said before, we are a big team in this league and teams will raise their game but we have to deal with it"
Paul Lambert praised his side’s fighting spirit after Town came from behind to take all three points against AFC Wimbledon.
Kayden Jackson grabbed the winner in added on time after James Norwood’s 80th minute goal had cancelled out Nesta Guinness-Walker’s first-half opener.
“We showed a great team spirit again and a never say die attitude,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.
“The first-half we were too passive. We had a lot of the ball. We probed but never really got too many chances.
“They scored with their first chance and dug in and we have to get used to that. I have said before, we are a big team in this league and teams will raise their game but we have to deal with it.
“The second-half we were so much better. We were relentless. Norwood has got his goal and the substitutes all made a difference.
“The support again was unbelievable and they played a big part in the end.”
