“I’m happy with where he is and Toto is making progress as well" says boss
Jon Nolan is closing in on a return to action after being sidelined since the end of last season with a calf injury.
The 27-year-old midfielder has featured in the two U23 games this season and could be included in the squad to face his former club Shrewsbury on Saturday.
“He’s getting closer and did well against Leeds for the U23s last week,” Town boss Paul Lambert told iFollow Ipswich.
“I’m happy with where he is and Toto [Nsiala] is making progress as well.
“I’ll see how Nolan is in training before we decide on things for tomorrow. He’s been out a long time.”
Toto has not featured for Blues since sustaining a hamstring injury while away on tour in Germany last month.
