Paul on potential new arrival
Blues boss Paul Lambert confirmed that Kane Vincent-Young is at the Ipswich Town training centre today and will sign for the Club subject to a medical.
Town had a bid accepted for the Colchester United full-back on Wednesday evening, and look set to make the 23-year-old the seventh addition of the summer.
"He's here but it's all subject to a medical," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
"Hopefully that all goes well and he'll be a good signing for the Club. He fits the mould - he's quick, dynamic and he's a talented player.
"Kane can play on both sides of defence so he gives us options too. He's an athletic lad and he's good on the ball plus he's only 23 years old.
"Should everything go to plan then we will be looking forward to working with him."
