"The fans deserve so much credit" says Skuse as 4000 head for Peterborough
Cole Skuse is the latest player to salute the backing of the Blue Army with 4000 Town fans travelling to Peterborough at the weekend.
The midfielder says he’s not surprised to see the following the Club gets but is still taken aback sometimes.
“It’s not new. We have seen it with the fans before and they deserve so much credit. They have really got behind the team and you saw that again when we played Sunderland.
“There were 24,000 in the stadium and I wouldn’t be surprised to see those figures again. If we can get some momentum going and it snowballs from there, the attendances will be high all season.
“You don’t often see those figures in League One so the supporters deserve a lot of plaudits and we need that support behind us all the way - as it has been. They definitely have a role to play.”
