Players spread festive cheer around local hospitals
The Club's annual Christmas visits got underway this afternoon with Luke Chambers, Cole Skuse, James Wilson, Kayden Jackson, Jordan Roberts, Tomas Holy and Jon Nolan all visiting Ipswich Hospital's Bergholt Ward.
The players distributed presents to the children throughout the afternoon and even had time for some arts & crafts at the end of the day.
Cole Skuse told iFollow Ipswich, "It's always a mixed bag of emotions coming to do a Christmas visit, because it's never nice to see the children in hospital and especially at this time of year, but on the flip side, the happiness you see in their faces when they receive presents from us is magical."
Town will be visiting East Anglia's Children Hospice tomorrow afternoon, followed by a visit to St Elizabeth Hospice on Wednesday. Colchester Hospital, West Suffolk Hospital and St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds are also receiving presents and donations.
All presents and donations that are distributed to local hospitals and hospices' are donated from the first-team players' wages.
A behind-the-scenes video of today's Christmas visit will be published on iFollow and the Club's social media channels at the end of the week.
