First 125 fans into FanZone on Saturday to get a free drink courtesy of Paul
Paul Lambert is buying a drink for the first 125 fans into the FanZone before Saturday’s game against Bristol Rovers as a thank you for the support the Club has received this season.
The Town boss made a similar gesture at the start of the campaign and with the game being the last at Portman Road before Christmas, he says the time is right to show his appreciation to the Blue Army.
“I can understand the frustrations of the supporters on Tuesday night but this place has been rocking all season and I’m sure it will be the same on Saturday,” writes Paul in his column in the matchday programme.
“There is a bond there that has been built up over the last year; a togetherness and that is a powerful weapon for this Football Club.
“As it’s the last home game before the festivities, I’d like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and as a thank you for the fantastic support you’ve given us, I’ve put some money behind the bar in the FanZone. Have a drink on me!”
The first 125 supporters into the FanZone, which opens at midday, will be issued with a voucher that can be exchanged for a drink (beer, wine, soft drink) courtesy of Paul.
