BOSS | WE HAVE TO STICK TOGETHER

29 December 2019

“We will get criticism now and that’s football. We have to deal with it and we have to react now”

Paul Lambert says Town have to stick together and weather the storm that comes with the run the team is on.

Blues dropped out of the top two after a 5-3 defeat at Lincoln and have now not won in the league since the start of November.

“We have to stick together and get through this storm,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.

“Three goals away from home should be enough to win any game so to concede five is very hard to take and is not good enough.

“We are not in good form at the moment but the positive thing is that we are right in the mix still.

“We have to do better though. We have to regroup. We had a good chat after the game and the players had their say.

“It’s a mental test now. It’s huge. The first 15 games or so there was no fear. The last few games it’s not been like that.

“We will get criticism now and that’s football. We have to deal with it and we have to react now.”
