Manager and legends to attend with free Portman Pie and drink on offer
Town boss Paul Lambert will join a number of former Blues, including Terry Butcher, at an exclusive event for season ticket holders before the Nottingham Forest game on March 16.
Club owner, Marcus Evans, has written a letter to all season tickets holders saying: “I appreciate the commitment you have made to the manager, players and the Club in its entirety this season and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your most valued support.
“As a token of our appreciation, I wish to invite you to attend this exclusive season ticket holder event prior to the home match against Nottingham Forest.”
Ex-Blue, Bryan Hamilton, will be the host for the occasion, which will take place in the FanZone, with a complimentary Portman Pie and drink available to those who attend.
As well as interviews, there will entertainment including music from singer/songwriter Jock Davies, who wrote the original Singing the Blues.
Season ticket holders can claim their free ticket between Monday, February 25 and Friday, March 8. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis though so season ticket holders are directed to the ‘Events page’ on www.itfcdirect.com where they can log into their account using their customer number which is featured on their season ticket.
The event will start at around midday, with the FanZone opening at 11.30am. The FanZone will open to all supporters at 1.30pm ahead of the match against Forest.
