'They will make it a hell of an atmosphere, I’m sure of that' says Paul

Paul Lambert is expecting the travelling Town fans to play a massive part in creating a great atmosphere at Carrow Road on Sunday.

Blues go to Norwich backed by a 2000 strong support and looking to end a 10 year wait for a derby victory.

“It’s a brilliant game to look forward to,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.
“Derby games are massive, doesn’t matter what derby it is.

“It’s been a long time since this club beat their local rivals so it would be a great time to do it on Sunday. That’s what we are going there to do, win.

“They are going well but we have to go there and fight for everything. We will have a fantastic support behind us and they will have a massive part to play on the day. They will make it a hell of an atmosphere, I’m sure of that.

“They may get some ribbing but if we stick together, supporters and team, then let’s see where it takes us. Anything can happen in a derby.”
