Boss delivers an injury update ahead of the trip to the DW Stadium
Paul Lambert will make a late call on the fitness of both Luke Chambers & James Collins [hamstring] ahead of Saturday's trip to face Wigan Athletic.
Town's skipper has missed the draws against Derby County & Stoke City with a foot injury while his fellow defender, Collins has been sidelined for the past four matches with a hamstring knock.
"The two of them are doing better and I'll decide tomorrow if they're ready," Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
"They've started to train which is really good."
Elsewhere, Paul will have decisions to make on a handful of players who have been affected by a sickness bug going around Playford Road.
"We'll have to see how certain players are but there's one or two who have got it," the boss added.
"Flynn had the virus through the Derby game but he's a lot better this week.
"Cole had it as well and missed all last week with it, but he's come back from that as well. It was a big ask to put him on the bench [against Stoke] but I decided to put him on just for his presence.
"Ellis Harrison doesn't have it, he has hurt his hamstring, but he's doing OK."
Emyr Huws [knee], Tom Adeyemi [achilles], Grant Ward [ACL], Freddie Sears [ACL] & Jack Lankester [back] remain sidelined.
