The players have had to deal with it all season says Paul ahead of Wigan trip
Paul Lambert takes his Town side to Wigan at the weekend looking to build on the momentum from good performances against Derby and Stoke.
Blues shared the spoils with both clubs and the Town boss says his team go to the DW Stadium in confident mood.
“It will be a tough game. We know that,” Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
“We are playing well though. That’s the main thing and we will be going there to win the game.
“We know games are going by. I know the league table; I know the goal scored by everyone; I know the goals against; I know the goal difference.
“That doesn’t add to the pressure. The players have been under pressure from day one of the season because the Club has been in the bottom three near enough all season.
“They’ve had that pressure all the time. That’s not going to change with one game.
“All we can do is focus on our own game and do everything we can to get the results we need.”
Paul will watch the game from the directors’ box at Wigan as he serves the first of his two match touchline ban after his red card at Norwich.
“I think it’s very harsh, two games but I’ll get on with it,” he added.
