Midfielder commits his future to the Blues
Teddy Bishop has signed a new contract until the summer of 2021, with a year’s option on top.
The Academy graduate has been at the Club since he was seven but his current deal was up at the end of this campaign.
He has been sidelined for much of the last three years through a series of injuries but has been back in the squad over the last few months and could add to his 71 appearances for the Club when Town take on Norwich on Sunday.
“Teddy is a very talented footballer and he’s got the opportunity now to stay fit and play games,” Town boss Paul Lambert told the Club website.
“He’s missed a lot of football over the last few years with injuries but he’s worked hard to get himself fit.
“We have to look after him but he’s made an impact in games and that’s what we want from him. He has to leave potential at the door now.”
