Boss hopeful on Chambo and Collins ahead of derby day

Paul Lambert will monitor the fitness of James Collins and Luke Chambers over the next two days before finalising his side for Sunday’s derby.

The duo missed last weekend’s defeat by Sheffield Wednesday, Chambo with a foot injury, James with a hamstring problem.

“There are still a few days to go so we will look at it day by day,” the Town boss told iFollow Ipswich.

“Hopefully they will both be okay but it’s too early to say at the moment.

“We have got bumps and bruises with a few of the other players but they will be okay.”

Jack Lankester and Emyr Huws won’t be involved on Sunday though. Jack is out with a back problem and Emyr has had a minor setback in his recovery from a knee injury.
