Striker assessed later in week ahead of vital Reading clash

Town will know more about the progress of Will Keane over the next few days ahead of Saturday’s vital clash with Reading.

The Hull loanee was forced off in the second-half of Town’s visit to Wigan at the weekend with a hamstring problem after netting his third goal for the Club in the 1-1 draw.

“Will has been terrific for us so it’s obviously disappointing for him and for us that he’s picked up an injury,” Town boss Paul Lambert told the Club website.

“He’s working with the physios and we will know more before the weekend. We will do everything we can to get him back as soon as possible.”

Saturday’s game is a ticket promotion match with adult prices in all areas of the stadium set at just £12. Seniors (65+) and U23s will be charged £8, while entry for U19s will be £3.

Blues sit nine points behind Reading, who are one place above the relegation zone. A crowd of close on 20,000 is expected.
