"I would definitely be interested if that opportunity came about” says Will
Will Keane says he would definitely be interested in a permanent move to Town if the opportunity came about.
The striker, who joined Blues in January on loan from Hull until the end of the season, already feels part of the set-up at Portman Road.
“My future at Hull is quite uncertain. I’m out of contract in the summer although there is a potential extension,” said Will in an interview in Saturday’s matchday programme.
“I don’t know if that will go ahead so in my eyes I’m an Ipswich player at the moment and then we will see what happens in the summer.
“It’s probably in my hands because if I can get a run of games and do well and I can help the team collectively then it’s going to reflect well on me.
“The manager here has said that he is committed to the long term at the Club and I have enjoyed working with him. He has put his faith in me so staying here beyond this season is something I would definitely be interested in if that opportunity came about.”
Saturday’s programme features an in-depth interview with Will, plus Luke Chambers voices his frustrations over the role of agents in the game - don’t miss that -, Jon Nolan on the amazing Blue Army, Paul Lambert on the way forward for the Club, a tribute to Gordon Banks and loads more.
Supporters are advised that there are road works around the stadium on Saturday which may delay their journey.
