Chambo described Town's 3-2 loss to Millwall at Portman Road as another missed opportunity.
Jack Lankester gave the Blues the perfect start when he slotted in after just three minutes, but three goals in 16 second-half minutes saw Millwall take the spoils - Kayden Jackson nettting a consolation for the hosts in the dying stages.
"It's another massive opportunity that we've missed," the Town captain told iFollow Ipswich.
"When we're in the ascendancy we have to make it count. We should have been a few goals up at half-time really.
"But we should still have enough about us to see the game out. We concede goals out of nowhere and we need to sort ourselves out quickly.
"All we can do is keep trying and keep going and that's exactly what we'll do.
"I want to say thank you to the fans as well. After the game they were there clapping us off and they could have easily turned on us."
