"Catalyst" opportunity for Blues says former Stanley man

Kayden Jackson is hoping Town’s FA Cup third round clash with Accrington Stanley this weekend acts as a catalyst to improve the second half of Blues’ season.

Paul Lambert’s side travel to the Wham Stadium on the back of a New Year’s Day defeat at home to Millwall, and will be desperate to get back to winning ways having picked up all three points in just two games so far this term.

“Despite not getting the result we wanted against Millwall this is still a massive month for the Club,” Kayden, who moved from Stanley to Town in the last summer transfer window, told iFollow Ipswich.

“There are no two ways about it, we have to start picking up some good results and fast.

“But this weekend could prove to be a good game for all of us in terms of getting some positivity back and I’m looking forward to it.

“This could be a catalyst to change our season. Their recent form hasn’t been great either so both sides will be keen to get back to winning ways - we’ll be doing our best to make sure it’s us.”
