'Alan can make things happen' says Paul who is delighted with new arrivals

Paul Lambert says it was vital that he got players in early in the January transfer window and says Blues haven’t closed the door on further additions.

Alan Judge  became the sixth signing of the month when he joined from Brentford at the start of the week and the Town boss is delighted to have the Republic of Ireland international on board.

“Alan is a very good footballer and knows what this league is about,” Paul told iFollow Ipswich.

“He will come in and contribute. He can make things happen and he’s got that experience that we need as well.

“All the new lads have given everyone a lift. I think that was evident last week against Rotherham.

“It was vital that we got the players in early as well. If we waited until the end of January, that is three or four games down the line.

“I’m delighted to have got the new lads in and if something else comes up that might be worth looking at, we will do that.”
