'The Club needs everybody’s help at the moment. That’s the main thing. It’s vital'
Paul Lambert says it’s vital players put any concerns about their own future on hold for now and focus on getting Town up the table.
Blues have a number of players out of contract at the end of the season including Teddy Bishop and Luke Chambers, as well as Jonas Knudsen who has indicated that he would like to look at other options.
“There is uncertainty because of where we are in the table. That’s the reality of the situation,” Paul told the Club website.
“The best thing is for players not to worry about contracts or where we are going to be.
“The Club needs everybody’s help at the moment. That’s the main thing. It’s vital.
“There is no time to worry about contracts and the rest. That has to be put aside for now.”
Paul confirmed there has been no offers for Jonas and added: “Jonas indicated a few weeks ago that he wanted to look at something else and we have had to adjust to that.
“He is in the last year of his contract and that is his prerogative. That’s the modern game and there is nothing I can do about it.
“There is no certainly no malice towards Jonas. At the moment though I’ve not heard anyone has been in for him.”
