Paul on growing relationship with Club owner
Paul Lambert says he has nothing but praise for the support he has received from Town owner Marcus Evans since coming to the Club.
Blues have brought in Callum Elder, Collin Quaner, Simon Dawkins and Will Keane in the January window, with the boss hopeful of making that five before the weekend with James Collins training with the Club.
“The relationship between manager and owner or chairman is vital at any club and I have nothing but praise for the way Marcus has treated me and my staff since we arrived here and the backing he has given us,” writes Paul in his column in Saturday’s matchday programme.
“From what I have seen, he has put millions and millions into this Club. He has backed his managers. He provided money in the summer to be spent on the squad and as it should be in football, it was down to the manager where he spent it.
“I know Marcus fully intends to be at the Club as regularly as he can and we need him. This Club needs him.”
