Trio of youngsters make their mark at Meadow Lane
Town boss Paul Lambert was impressed with the performance of his young players in the pre-season friendly with Notts County.
Armando Dobra, Bailey Clements and Corrie Ndaba were all on the pitch during the second half for Blues in the 1-1 draw, despite no member of the trio having made their competitive debut for the Club.
Dobra completed 90 minutes, while Ndaba came on as a half-time substitute and Clements replaced the injured Tristan Nydam on the hour mark.
"The team tonight was really young," Paul said.
"There were a number of senior players who didn't travel, some of which are injured, but some had played against Colchester on Friday so were never going to feature this evening.
"That gave some of the younger lads a chance and that's good for them. It's important for their development.
"Overall it was a good 90 minutes apart from the injury to Tristan."
