Take a look at the trips in store for Town next season

Town will travel 8,204 miles over the course of the 2019/20 League One season.

Bury, Lincoln City and Tranmere Rovers will make the step up after winning promotion from League Two last term, whilst Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United will join Blues in the drop to the third tier.

Meanwhile Bradford City, Plymouth Argyle, Scunthorpe United and Walsall suffered relegation from League One last season, with Barnsley, Charlton Athletic and Luton Town preparing for a campaign in the Championship having enjoyed success at the other end of the table.

Town's longest trip in the league next season will take them to Fleetwood. Blues will face the Trawlermen at Highbury Stadium in what will be a 566-mile round trip from Portman Road.

Blues' shortest away day will be to Southend. Paul Lambert's side will take on the Shrimpers at Roots Hall following a 57-mile journey from Suffolk.

Elsewhere, the round trips of 558 miles to Blackpool's Bloomfield Road, 320 miles to Fratton Park and Portsmouth, and 533 miles to Sunderland's Stadium of Light could whet the appetite of the Blue Army.

More away days could also be in store as Town enter the FA Cup in the first round (9 November 2019), as well as games in the League Cup and EFL Trophy.

Town's 2019/20 League One fixtures will be released at 9am on Thursday, 20 June, with other key dates to look out for this summer available below.
