HOME COMFORTS FOR YOUNG BLUES

26 June 2019

Town looking for host families for Academy youngsters and U21 girls team

The Club are recruiting for new host families for the coming season who can provide a warm and welcoming environment for the Academy players and U21 girls team as they continue their football development.

Host families will need to look after either boys or girls aged 16-20, preferably with the ability to accommodate at least two players.

Lodgings should provide good quality accommodation in an area which provides easy access to the training ground (Playford Road, IP4 5RQ); in addition, homes must provide a safe setting for the apprentices to live during their weekly training schedule.

The accommodation required should have a room which the young player will not share with any other family member and can grow and thrive in your living environment.

Access to public transport and local amenities is desirable. The role will require residential accommodation either from Sunday evening until Saturday morning each week during the football season (usually last week in June until second week in May) or, for those players living further away from home, for seven days per week.

Within the girls’ programme the current commitment is only a Tuesday night although this may expand in the future.

The host is required to provide high quality nutritional breakfasts and evening meals with the potential of occasional lunches.

The Club are particularly looking for homes that can provide temporary accommodation paid on a nightly basis for both the boys and girls programmes.

If you would like any more information or wish to discuss this further please get in touch with Ralph Pruden by emailing Ralph.Pruden@itfc.co.uk.
