Bleep tests and football tennis on first day back for Blues

Town's first-team squad reported back to Playford Road for the start of pre-season earlier today.

Blues manager Paul Lambert put his players through their paces with a 'bleep test', with football tennis also taking place in the morning session.

New goalkeepers Tomas Holy and Adam Przybek were present, but Town's third addition of the summer, James Norwood, was absent having been allowed a few extra days off following his involvement in the League Two Play-Offs.

Alan Judge and Freddie Sears also weren't involved as they continue their recoveries from a broken wrist and ACL injury respectively.

But Jack Lankester and Emyr Huws took part having ended the previous campaign in the treatment room.
