Young Blue on a memorable night at Ashton Gate
Idris El Mizouni said he was 'delighted' to have made his Town debut after he came on as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw against Bristol City on Tuesday.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who signed his first professional contract with Blues in December, replaced Alan Judge with 15 minutes remaining at Ashton Gate, and is now hungry for more first-team action having got a taste of Championship football.
"I was delighted to make my debut against Bristol City and I'm still buzzing now," the Frenchman told the Club website.
"It was a really good game to come into as well. We played well and I think we maybe deserved the win.
"The gaffer spoke to me before I came on and said 'go out there and show me what you have done for the U23s and in training' and that helped me relax.
"I really enjoyed it and I would love to get some more minutes in the first-team this season - especially at Portman Road."
