“I do want to play games regularly and I want to do that here"
Josh Emmanuel says he’s enjoying wearing a Town shirt again and wants to play his part in Blues’ run in to the end of the season.
The Academy graduate made his first appearance under Paul Lambert in the draw at Bristol City last night, having spent the last year on loan at Rotherham and Shrewsbury.
“I took all the positives out of my time out on loan but it’s great being back here and being involved with the team,” Josh told the Club website.
“When I am needed, I am ready. I want to be involved. I want to be playing games. I have to just keep working hard and when my chance comes, like it did last night, I’ve got to take it."
Josh acknowledges there is likely to be a summer of change ahead but added: “God willing we will stay up and then we will see what happens after that.
“I do want to play games regularly and I want to do that here. I’m an Ipswich player. I’m not focussing too much on the future at the moment. I know it’s there but it can wait for now.”
