Town duo earn Young Lions caps
Andre Dozzell and Trevoh Chalobah were both involved as England U20s lost 3-1 to Poland in an U20 Elite League match yesterday.
The Blues midfielders started for the Young Lions, while Town team-mate Flynn Downes was an unused sub at St George's Park.
Elsewhere Jonas Knudsen was also an unused sub as Denmark drew 2-2 in a friendly against Kosovo.
Town could have up to five players involved with their national sides over the next few days, though.
Academy full-back Dylan Crowe will be looking to earn his third England U18s cap when they face Czech Republic in the Sport Chain Cup in Dubai later on today.
Alan Judge's Republic of Ireland then kick off their Euro qualifying campaign against Gibraltar away from home tomorrow [kick-off 5pm].
And Blues duo Barry Cotter and Corrie Ndaba will also be hopeful of some international action as Republic of Ireland U21s take on Luxembourg in a European U21 Championship qualifier on Sunday. Town striker Aaron Drinan, who is on loan at Waterford until the summer, has also been named in the squad.
