Boss gives injury update ahead of Baggies trip
Paul Lambert revealed that James Collins is a doubt for Town's trip to face West Brom on Saturday with a hamstring injury.
The Blues centre-half returned from a spell on the sidelines against Reading last weekend, but was forced off in just the 40th minute and may now miss the clash at The Hawthorns.
"James is a doubt but we'll see how he is tomorrow," Paul said.
"It's frustrating for him but we'll monitor him ahead of Saturday's match as well as the trip to Bristol City on Tuesday.
"Jonas [suspension] is back, though, and when he plays in the middle he can give you a bit of balance with his left foot. Again, because we have two games in quick succession we'll see how much he is involved.
"Some lads have played a lot of games compared to some that haven't played that many. It's a balancing act and another thing that needs to be taken into consideration for the upcoming week."
The boss also gave a fitness update on Ellis Harrison [hamstring] and Trevoh Chalobah [strain].
"Ellis is doing okay and has trained," Paul added.
"He's in a better place than he was a week ago but again we'll need to see how he is.
"Trevoh picked up a strain last week so he will also need to be looked at, this one might be slightly too early for him."
