Blues beat league leaders Cardiff at Playford R
Town U18s secured a 2-1 win over Cardiff City at Playford Road this morning.
Lounes Foudil and Zak Brown were on target as Adem Atay's side came from behind to beat the Bluebirds.
Town had a chance to go in front just 15 minutes in but Brown's penalty was well saved by Cardiff's George Ratcliffe.
And on the half-hour mark the visitors took the lead as Sam Bowen converted after Blues failed to clear from a corner.
It remained that way until half-time, but 20 minutes after the restart Foudil headed in from close range to bring the hosts level.
And just five minutes later Town had the lead. Brown raced round Bluebirds shot-stopper Ratcliffe before slotting in from a narrowing angle.
Blues stood resolute despite some late Cardiff pressure to pick up a vital win over the league leaders.
The U18s are next in action when they face Bolton Wanderers on March 9 [kick-off 11am].
